Warner Books … over 21 years of Innovation … 21 years of Service to the libraries of Australia.
As The Information Specialists
we continue to respond to the constantly evolving needs of the library
marketplace. Our prestigious list of imprints and newly launched
electronic products (21 databases and over 4,000 eBooks), coupled with a customer service approach which is
truly focused on service, has seen Warner Books emerge as the
pre-eminent supplier of information to school, academic, and public
libraries throughout Australia.
We continue to be awarded contracts for library supply and in January 2009 were awarded a 2 year contract to work with Local Buy and the libraries of Queensland. In partnership with Protect-A-Book we now offer clients a quality shelf-ready service, and have moved totally to air freight
turnaround on overseas orders. Our showroom of over 3,000 samples and a warehouse holding10,000 stock items, sees us well placed to offer school, academic and public libraries the option to vist and see before they buy!
Innovation
and research rigour have seen the development of a CORE Reference
List, a Reader's Advisory List and with the move to a National Curriculum in 2011, we have taken the step of preparing and maintaining specialty Subject Lists in line with the proposed Australia wide curriculum. Strenuously maintained and constantly updated these documents will be
housed in our School and LibraryService Centre, alongside our Annual Standing Order List
and our VCE and HSC recommendations for literary curriculum support
materials covering the 2010 curriculum. All are regularly accessed by
discerning librarians wanting to develop and maintain premium reference
collections.
Such recommendations, from The Information Specialists, reflect our ongoing commitment to providing resources which are current and offer academic integrity to an extremely discerning client base.
