Hill's essays on film have appeared in Literature/Film Quarterly, Post Script, and elsewhere; and he has served on the editorial boards of The Velvet Light Trap, Deep Focus, and other film-related publications.<BR><BR><B>Gene D. Phillips</B>, is professor of English and film at Loyola University, Chicago, and author of many articles and books on literature and film, including <I>Fiction, Film, and Faulkner</I>. He is a contributor to <I>The Encyclopedia of Filmmakers, The Encyclopedia of Novels Into Film</I>, and <I>The Encyclopedia of Stage Plays Into Film</I>, all for Facts On File. He has just completed a book of interviews about Stanley Kubrick for the University of Mississippi Press, and he was a friend of Kubrick.
